Student Health

With the goal of improving and maintaining the health of its students, the University offers various medical services and preventive activities.

Benefits

The Student Health Department (DSE) has various clinical services available to the undergraduate student community, focusing on low-complexity primary health care.

In a hybrid format that prioritizes in-person learning, nursing and psychology services are free, while other services have preferential rates. If a student has a complex socioeconomic situation, they can access free care in coordination with the Student Welfare Department.

Services include care in the areas of:
  • Dentistry
  • Nutrition
  • Obstetrics
  • General medical practice
  • Psychology
  • Nursing

Promotion and Prevention

We promote healthy habits and prevent diseases through educational campaigns, workshops, and vaccination programs, ensuring that students maintain their overall well-being throughout their university life.

The Directorate also collaborates with Fonasa, private networks, and government campaigns, such as HIV vaccination and testing, and makes referrals to the health network when necessary.

School Insurance

It includes all injuries suffered by students that occur within the educational establishment during the completion of professional practice, or those suffered on the way there and back.

Accidents that are not related to studies or those caused intentionally are not considered covered by the insurance.

The injured person must go to any center in the public health network (hospitals) and must notify the Student Health Department.
