As a result of its commitment to public education, in 2015 the Corporation decided to re-establish the Faculty of Education Sciences, taking up the legacy of this institution, which between 1981 and 1987 hosted and promoted the development of five teaching programs.
Located on the Linares Campus, this educational space houses the School of English Pedagogy and the School of Natural and Exact Sciences Pedagogy. The School of German Pedagogy is located on the Santiago-LBI Campus.
“At a critical time for education, where the teacher shortage is evident both in Chile and abroad, our School is committed to being a pillar in the training of new educators. Likewise, we are proud to offer postgraduate programs that not only train in-service teachers but also future educational leaders. Through our work, we seek to contribute to quality education, helping to develop skills that have a positive impact on our society.”
The Faculty of Educational Sciences at the Linares Campus offers programs in Early Childhood Education, General Basic Education, and Secondary Education, with a focus on English.
