Faculty of Health Sciences

We stand out for our teaching, technological innovation, and research, with an emphasis on ethical values that contribute to developing graduates with the skills needed to address the health problems and challenges facing society.

This academic unit was founded in 1995 with the aim of contributing to the country through teaching and research, training professionals who contribute to the development of the discipline with a critical spirit and improving the quality of life of the population.

In its more than 30 years of existence, the Faculty of Health Sciences has stood out for its pursuit of excellence through the cultivation of science and technological innovation, creating centers and clinics dedicated to research and community care.

The impact of its academic and research work dates back to the creation of the Medical Technology program in 1964, the first higher education curriculum offered in the Maule Region.

“Please accept cordial greetings from the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Talca.
