Faculty of Engineering

We contribute to the search for solutions based on technological innovations, with a focus on developing the skills needed to address the challenges of the future.

Founded in 1995 and located on the Curicó and Lircay campuses, this Faculty has established itself as a benchmark in the scientific and technological field in the Maule Region.

This unit offers the largest academic offering in undergraduate and graduate programs at the University. Located on a 108.200 m2 campus, with 14 buildings and extensive green areas, it trains future UTalca professionals.

Since 2019, the faculty has offered a special admissions program, "Female Engineers for the World," promoting the participation of women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

“In 2025, the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Talca will celebrate 30 years of training professionals and conducting high-impact research. We are proud to contribute to innovation and technology transfer, with a strong commitment to gender equity and the development of advanced human capital at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our diverse accredited programs reflect excellence and our commitment to continue promoting cutting-edge engineering at the service of society.”
