Faculty of Psychology

We are distinguished by our strong research development and our offering of undergraduate and graduate curricula with a high regional, national, and international impact.

Founded in 2007 as a Faculty, this academic unit dates back to 2001 with the creation of the Psychology program.

Inspired by the pursuit of excellence, social responsibility, and respect for diversity, our school was the first to train professionals in the field of Social and Organizational Psychology in the south-central region of the country.

In 2019, the Faculty expanded its academic offerings by adding an Occupational Therapy program to its classrooms on the Lircay Campus.

"The Faculty stands out for its academic excellence and commitment to the community. Its undergraduate programs, Psychology and Occupational Therapy, have held seven-year quality certifications and have achieved an 85% employability rate. At the graduate level, we offer a Master's degree in Social Psychology and two doctoral degrees, in Psychology and Human Sciences.

In research, the Faculty's academics have generated a significant impact by awarding national and international projects, which has contributed to the increase in the number and quality of our scientific output. To support these efforts, we have cutting-edge infrastructure and research centers, including the Center for Applied Psychology (CEPA) and the Center for Research in Cognitive Sciences (CICC).
