One of the characteristics of the master’s, doctorate and specialization programs is the use of SCT-CHILE (Transferable Academic Credit System) credits as an element of academic assessment.

For graduate studies, 1 STC-Chile credit has been considered equivalent to 27 hours of study by the graduate student in a period of one trimester or academic period of the program.

Academic activity is understood to mean not only classroom hours, but also time spent on practice, laboratory, on the field, preparation of monographs, projects and any other academic activity including personal study time.
