The Institute of Educational Research and Development (IIDE in Spanish) works on the design and analysis of educational policies, and in the curriculum redesigning.

Its task is to guide and strengthen the teaching processes and the students learning, in order to reach and hold the standards of performance and achievement of our University.

The IIDE develops research and technical assistance at all levels of the National Education system.

Its work is to help the development of people, through creation, education and dissemination, and research in the different fields and sectors of educational, under an ethical and academic excellence framework.

At the graduate level, the IIDE imparts the Master's degree programs in Political and Educational Management (Talca Campus), in Skills-based Education (Santiago Campus), in Management of Education Centers (Santiago Campus). It also offers Certificates in the areas of Local Management and Development, University Pedagogy and Skills-based Education.
