The Centre for Maule Competitiveness’ objective is to support the activities of the private sector, the regional socio-economic agents, Maule’s public administration, and all the technological centers of the region, in the areas related to competitiveness.

One of its main tasks is to identify the regional competitiveness options that allow the proper implementation of public policies and business clusters agendas.

To that end, it has three essential functions: interaction with public and private decision-makers, the carrying out of studies and proposals, and knowledge transfer.

The Center for Maule Competitiveness is the result of a strategic alliance between the Universidad de Talca, the Maule Regional Government, CORFO and Regional Productive Development Agency which, within the framework of the Maule 2020 Regional Development Strategy, made synergistic efforts to respond to the competitive challenges present in the Maule territory.
